Med Marine is a member of European Tugowners Association since 1997, International Salvage Union (ISU) since 1998, and BIMCO since 2000. Also having been certified with ISO 9001 in January 2001, the company verified its world-class quality procedures and operations. The related ISO certificate, approved Med Marine’s constant error-free manner of work, and maximized quality procedures. In 2010, ISO 14001: 2004 & OSHAS 18001: 2007 certificates have been received. In the following years, Med Marine was certified with ISO 14001: 2015, documenting the zero-emission society vision and devoted efforts regarding environmental awareness of the company. Furthermore, Med Marine’s eco-sensitive approach and awareness of the accelerated shift toward a zero-emission society, along with safety and health protocols within the company procedures are recognized with ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Med Marine has also been awarded the certificate of authorization for emergency response in case of oil and other harmful substances pollution of the marine environment by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye.
Additionally, in 2010 and 2011, Med Marine ranked 344th and 387th respectively in the Fortune 500 Türkiye platform, where Türkiye's 500 largest companies are ranked.
